Wow - you cover so much ground here. Congrats on the move and especially the skylights. The Ronan Farrow NY’er article was my first introduction to RuPaul. I put a library hold on the memoir before I finished (only 997 in line, I’m sure). I couldn’t get over the line that went something like, ‘there’s no series of words I could string together to quell the mob.’ Thank you for the thorough roundup.
My kid was diagnosed with PANDAS/PANS in 2014 and it was a full-on nightmare for a year. We were lucky that it was only that. My heart breaks for those families that can't get the diagnosis or treatment they need.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Hugh. I really hope things are stable now for your child and your family. It really is heartbreaking to see and read those stories :( I'm grateful you were able to get the diagnosis your family needed.
Fascinated by this post ... every item of interest. Makes me wonder at the totality of your reading and the process for gleaning the treasures. I often skip this type of post because the items aren't truly interesting ... or I've already come across them. I'm hooked!
I'm so glad it appealed! I tend to read a lot of different sources, and follow authors I enjoy directly as well online. I hope the next one is just as entertaining for you — thanks for subscribing.

Glad you enjoyed the newsletter, and thanks for the congrats. Hope you find the memoir as compelling as the piece!

The fish doorbell is a discovery! Thanks for making my day 😍
Isn’t it great? Sadly it’s a short fish season but it happens every spring. I’ll post it to next year’s CAE when it starts again. 🙂
