Ok these links are golden! Thank you for sharing so I can start my day off thoughtfully. And truly I might be a little afraid if this is you with "cognitive capacity limits" - so brilliant!
Ha, thank you. This is definitely me with limits. It's up there with the most difficult parts of leaking, alongside the pain, because my brain used to work so much better. The word finding difficulties, the cranial nerves burning, and more really impact what I can do. I'm glad I have been able to get this newsletter out almost every month since I started it, but with limited brain juice, there's just a hard stop in ways there never ways pre-leak :(
Oh wow, I can't imagine how frustrating that feels. Thank you for sharing more info about this issue; I have a family member with this but never really understood what he has been going through.
Hi Evan, that's so nice to read - thank you! I don't have a set list I check, no, though I do read The Browser, ScienceDaily, Kottke, and Matt Levine regularly (and credit when I've found links via them). Most reads are via others who don't want to be credited, or via social media, or medical journals. I read more than what's on this list; this is just the stuff I found the most interesting.

I always learn a ton just by reading your vivid thumbnails. Happy you’re doing this on Substack so I can subscribe and share. Thank you!
Thank you! <3 I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
This is one of my favorite emails to receive each month. Do you have a list of periodicals that you read weekly or do these links find you?
